“I had the time of my life”
Living life right up to the end is something we should all be thinking about, we are brought into this world with a team of experts around us,
however, there are also a team of experts here to help you plan how you want to leave this world too.
I have experienced the passing of a loved one where we didn’t know how they wanted their service to be, cremation or burial, hymns, poems, prayers, what music, where to scatter ashes etc,
all this could be avoided if you leave your wishes in a living eulogy.
Writing together, a living eulogy, gives you an option to share your thoughts and feelings of the people, friends, family who you will be leaving behind when that time comes, it can help someone with a terminal diagnosis say what they want their farewell to look like, and have all those questions answered that can be quite stressful for the family when planning a funeral.
Think about these questions
What would you say if you knew you wouldn’t be seeing them again?
- Where or who would you have been without them?
- Take some time and write down what you would say
- Don’t overthink it, just write it down, we can always change it, talk straight from the heart
- We are the best gatekeepers of our life stories don’t miss out on this time to take control
- Mark your appreciation or gratitude to someone who has positively contributed to your life.
- Remember, not only do you get to plan your final farewell you also have the opportunity to tell your life story how you want it told, you can thank those closest to you and let them know how you feel about them.
- We can meet on a 1-2-1 basis or with a family member or friend present, I can create your living eulogy and once approved by yourself this can be assigned to a loved one or a solicitor to be delivered on your passing.
If you know your time is coming to an end and you want me to deliver your eulogy then I would consider that to be an honour and a privilege.
